So it doesn't really make sound yet when he claps.. But I'm sure that is normal! but it's ADORABLE. ignore the mommy talk I do... if you can... 

Chris Stewart 2nd district Republican nominee!

So Chris won the republican nomination for Congress in the 2nd district. He'll be running agains the democrats in the general election this coming November. It was a great weekend for all of us. Long. But great. Congratulations to him and all the family! The hard work, honesty and integrity won out in the end.

my big boy!

So Chase is crawling all over.. Climbing on everything he can reach.. Talking up a storm. AND today?? he started clapping!!!! It was so cute. Of course I melted instantly. He did it first thing this morning after he put his arm in his sleeve without crying. (That's what I usually am doing to keep him from fussing. He loves when I clap.) And he finally figured it out all by himself. It was my favorite thing. Now if I do it, he will do it back to me. LOVE THIS LITTLE BOY OF MINE! and he is so big now. He wears 9 month clothing and some 9-12 month. He is 8 months old and growing like a weed. It's so fun to see. He has 2 teeth and I think there are more coming in.

Here is Beautiful E and baby E. Gorgeous. I know. She wanted something beautiful for herself and the with her son. And would you believe me if I said baby number 2 is on the way as well? So before this mommy of 1 became mommy of 2 she wanted to take some beautiful photos of her with the little man that made her a mommy.

Here is Emily. She is mommy of 2, wife and trauma room nurse. Today we spent a few hours with hair, makeup and some gorgeous pictures. It was so great. And Emily, like her sister Andrea, has never done anything like this. But of course it turned out just right.

When is the last time you had your hair and makeup done and had your pictures taken? Senior year? Wedding??? Maybe not ever? Take a break from your busy schedule! This is the beautiful Mrs. Andrea. She is mother to one adorable little boy, wife and fitness enthusiast. And drop dead gorgeous. Like most of the people who I photograph, she has never done anything like this in her life. It was so fun for both of us. When she was done she said "I guess I can be a professional model now!" and I agree. It was a great shoot.

This weekend's shoots

Are a few pictures from my shoots this weekend. Glamorous and pregnant? Yes she totally is. Here is Beautiful Tab. She is pregnant with baby number two and she wears it so well. This was so fun for me. I love this girl. We were neighbors and great friends before Sean and I moved up to Bountiful. Here is a teaser from her shoot on Saturday. 

After that Kayla came over and we did her and she is beautiful. First we had a shoot with just her. She rocked it. I love watching people realize when they hit that perfect pose and feel beautiful and you see their face make that change and they twinkle bright right out their eyes. 

After Kayla, Megan came back and we did some sister shots. Such beautiful girls. 

There are shots with Evie, their mother, as well but those are not quite done yet. You will melt when you see them. So precious to see mom and her girls. And what fun to be able to come get hair and make up done with your sister or best friends and get all dressed up and have pictures taken. 

this week!!!!

I feel like I've never been busier. I'm a full-time mother. I revolve my entire world around my beautiful son. Yet in my free time (what mother has free time??) I have managed to ad my photography around that little boy. When Chase is napping I take my classes. When he is practicing crawling or figuring out a toy I've been setting appointments. All the while working on starting my business from the ground up. I have completely started over. My business as a photographer has finally found it's place. Glamour!
I guess it's true, a busy lady gets things done! Yes, yes and yes. I wake up, make my bed then go feed my son. He gets his bath time and then plays and hits the hay for his morning nap.I do the dishes and then I practice. I take pictures. I edit. Then Chase wakes up. Lunch time. Food everywhere. A stinky diaper (like clockwork) and then more playtime. He is crawling all over and getting into everything. I follow behind him, baby proofing as I go. Then nap time again. Chase still sleeps quite a bit. Pretty soon its about 4pm. Soon Sean will be home and we will work on my business plan and my new website. Then more baby time. PS CHASE IS TRYING TO WALK. Today he let go and just stood there all by himself... Then proceeded to take a step and fall.. My amazing baby. Whoa. I promise mommy isn't ready for that!!! Anyways.. Then till about 1am I'm running over poses and pictures and strategies in my head. Sometimes i even get a shower in. busy as can be.

So my beautiful sister-n-law Gwen, Randall's wife, is making BEAUTIFUL hair and clothing clips. She is the fabulous mother of 3 girls and they are each as beautiful as her. LUCKY family. Anyways.. I wanted to share her work with you! I love it. My favorite is the pearl and ivory ribbon clip... I wear it on my clothes and I LOVE it every time I do. Make sure to top by and check out her work!

Crafty For Girls

busy baby bee!!

So Chase, my sweet BIG BOY, is crawling and growing and moving all over. He is getting so fast. HELP! So for a little while I had nightmares that I would lose him... Not that we even really have anywhere for him to get to! But still.. It's much easier when they don't move and are tiny and brand-new... BUT I think this part is way more fun for Chase. He LOVES to be on the go all the time. He thinks it's fantastic. He has found a few places that he loves to go. He likes to crawl up under my coffee table and try to climb the books... not sure why, he just does. ALSO he LOVE to try and get under the chairs and table. So.. That's where he goes. ALSO he's strong enough now to pull himself up on anything and everything, the chairs, the ottoman, mom, dad, ANYTHING. He is a fun little MAN!

And while he has been doing all these things I've been honing my photography skills and realign finding a niche that I LOVE. BEAUTY AND GLAMOUR crossed with magazine contemporary. I love it. It's me. And it speaks to me. I had a shoot yesterday and I have 4 more this week. I CAN'T WAIT!
