Korean Drama!????

So... Sean and I love all things Korean.. I know. A little weird for us, two super white kids from Utah and Washington State. Well... Sean lived there before we met, he served his mission there. And crazy thing.. My older brother Randall did as well, so I had been there to visit for a few weeks. Being American in Korea was so fun for me, I had loved it. So... Sean and I decided to go back if we could. We lived there for 4 months for an internship after he finished his first year at  BYU's J Reuben Clark Law School. We loved it.. Everything about it.. The people.. The food.. The sights... We loved it all. We both want to go back.. Well.. Lately to fill the need for 'Korean' anything.. We have been catching up on our Korean Drama's. They are so fun.. funny... sad... sweet and we LOVE them. The first one we watched was 'Full House' Its the funnies/weirdest story you have ever heard.. (well that was until I saw Boys over Flowers, which is super funny... sad weird too! all in good ways) We LOVE them.. We've been watching them on Hulu and I just read the subtitles. I am able to pick up on words that I know now.. So I can mimic or repeat them to Sean later when he's not expecting it. It's been so fun for us. We have been loving it. except... it makes me miss Korea even more. We really want to take Chase over there. I can't wait to show him off.

Here are a couple pictures... These are from Boys over Flowers.. It's a story of 4 friends that are very wealthy and go to Shinwa High School.. And this little poor girl gets a scholarship to the school after saving a student from jumping off a building. JanDi, is the daughter of a dry cleaner and his wife. It's a sweet story and her family is so funny and loud and wonderful. You'll totally fall in love with the guys (they are called F4) and they are so so so so so my favorite right now.

Anyhow.. if you ever have time to watch one! You won't be disappointed! We LOVE them!!

my men...

bar bar bar.. bar bar

remember that song "ba ba ba, ba ba-beran" I have been totally singing that this morning.. but BAR BAR BAR... as my sweet husband is studying away for his BAR exam next month. He takes it on July 24 and I can't wait for him to be done with it. The last two months I've been reliving his law school days... Where he studies and I lay my head on his lap just so I can be by him while he pays me little to no attention. But It's kind of nice.. I can read or watch TV show and he can do his thing... And he doesn't say a word about what I'm reading or watching! In fact... he doesn't interrupt me at all! Haaa. I wouldn't mind if he did (sometimes) but it is a little fun... (not EVERYDAY forever kind of fun) but a  little for a few days kind of fun.
I'm so proud of him. He works hard at work, applies to jobs, studies, works out, is a daddy to a very active and demanding little guy and still manages to be my sweet husband with no an ounce of impatience or frustration at being worked so hard.
Right now we have been looking at jobs back on the East Coast, things around DC. Sean would love to work for a congressman or senator and write laws and be in the middle of the happenings back there. OR he would love to fight for his country, rolling around in the dirt and shooting a gun. Sean and his family love America with their whole hearts. He has wanted to serve in the military for as long as I have known him. (his dad did, his uncles and cousins have and his brothers want to) So... Sean could actually quite possibly be a JAG officer if we end up applying to the ARMY like we have been talking about. It's all quite exciting and with so many possibilities we can't wait to see what is in store for our little family. Anyways.. LOTS of things coming up!
AND MY BABY SISTER IS COMING TO STAY WITH US FOR A FEW WEEKS!! She flies in July 3rd and we can't wait! Chase will be in HEAVEN! Not just boring old mom to play with!!! Yay for Aunties!

say "mamma!"

Chase can say "Mamma"!!!!!! He started saying it yesterday!!!!!! He will say it for like 20 minutes and then get shy when we ask him to say it. It's the CUTEST thing I have ever seen. He has the funniest, sweetest and most adorable little voice I've ever heard! And i'm LOVING it!!! I was so glad he was willing to keep talking yesterday when Sean came home so he got to hear it. And first thing this morning when Chase woke up to hang out with Sean, he just kept saying "mamma, mamma." Well... I am one happy mamma!!!
